NAME

appstage

SYNOPSIS

appstage command [args] [options]

OPTIONS

 -n, --name name           Name of the node
 -t, --templates t1,t2     Templates compatible with the node
 -c, --cookbooks cookbooks URL to extra cookbooks
 -d, --description description description of the node
 -x, --xml                 Show the resource in xml format
 -f, --node node_file      Node file
 -d, --data v1=d1,v2=d2    Specific variables
 -t, --template template   Template used to instantiate the node
 -V, --version             Show version and copyright information

COMMANDS

• create node_file

  Adds a new node
  valid options: name, templates, cookbooks, description
  

• delete range|node_list

  Deletes the given node
  
  States: ANY
  

• show node

  Show defined node
  valid options: xml
  

• list

  Lists defined node
  valid options: xml
  

• update node

  Update a defined node
  valid options: description, templates, node_file, cookbooks
  

• chgrp range|node_list groupid

  Changes the node group
  

• chown range|node_list userid [groupid]

  Changes the node owner and group
  

• chmod range|imageid_list octet

  Changes the node permissions
  

• instantiate node

  Instantiate a template with a node
  valid options: variables, template
